Summer Skills Center Application is Open!

Seattle Public Schools offers introductory Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses each summer through the Seattle Skills Center. While open to all incoming 9th through 12th grade students, priority will be given to students in grades 11 and 12 who need the CTE credit to stay on track to graduate.

We are offering some in-person/hybrid classes, and some 100% remote classes. All classes are July 6 to July 30, 11:00am to 3:15pm.  In-person/hybrid classes are in-person on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and Wednesday is remote, with a blend of synchronous (live) and asynchronous learning via computer. Remote classes meet Monday through Friday, with a blend of synchronous (live) and asynchronous learning via computer.

Students can make a first and second choice. We will do our best to get you in the class of your choice, but space is limited.

Once you press “submit,” your application is complete, but you are not yet registered for your class. Please watch for emails regarding your application. You will receive an email in a few days informing you if you have been enrolled in your course or if you are on a waitlist. If you are enrolled in a course, you will need to confirm by clicking on a link in the email you received, and following those instructions.
